Thanks Navs! This stream features the new Ceres net (C1-512-25) that will play in TCEC Entrance League.
Also being tested is a variation of the CPUCT/FPU/etc. coefficients that Kovax suggests may be more optimal than the very old settings currently used by Ceres (copied from the Lc0 project).
```
Size/speed
* 129mm parameters, only slightly larger than TCEC Cup net
* 26% raw speed (trtexec) improvement on A100
* 48% raw speed (trtexec) improvement on A6000 Ada
Value/Policy Accuracy
* value Elo +29 versus last Ceres 768 net (+/- 8 on UHO openings)
* policy Elo +9 versus last Ceres 768 net (+/- 8 on UHO openings)
* some improvement on Lichess puzzle tests by lepned
Architecture (more details to follow on Ceres GitHub repo soon)
* switches from RPE to Smolgen for improved speed (based on Kovax analysis and suggestion)
* major shape change, from 768x15 to 512x25. Experimental and theoretical results motivated this change. It is also intuitive, given the sequential decision making nature of chess (lookahead).
Hier kann man das neue Netz in einem Turnier beobachten:
Immer noch zu klein.
Schön das Ceres jetzt besser in Testsuites abschneiden wird. Sehr spannend.
Hat schon jemand Triple Brain mit Ceres + LC0 + ShashChess oder Stockfish probiert?
Eine 1.0 Dev. Version könnten sie schon anbieten, damit andere Entwickler und Tester ggf. Fehler usw. melden können, bevor die offizielle öffentliche 1.0 Version veröffentlicht wird.
