Laut CCC hat Stockfish ungewöhnliche Probleme mit folgender Position:


10.Qh5+!! mit #8

Wobei klar ist, Damenopfer bei schon zwei Leichtfiguren weniger, das ist wohl ein Maximalkandidat für Pruning bzw. Reductions sofern ich diese Techniken richtig verstehe.

Das könnte ein Indiz dafür sein, daß "exotische" Züge stärker reduziert werden sollten als K9 es im Vergleich zu SF9 es macht. Doch das ist wohl eine Gratwanderung, denn wenn die Kombinationsgabe zu sehr leidet, wird es mehr böse Überraschungen geben...

Dass das Matt in 8 auch für die neueren Stockfische nicht so leicht zu finden ist, mag bereits zu überraschen, sind sie doch in der Mattsuche sonst  schon ausgesprochene Meister.

Dass aber schon der Vermeiden des 7. Zuges von Schwarz hier,

das 7...Ld6?

bereits verlangt werden müsste (Fritz14, der die Originalpartie mit Weiß geführt hatte, ist da ausgesprochen fix), weil das 8.Lc4+! sonst sofort gewinnt, macht die Sache schon an der Diagrammstellung zu einer ausgesprochen schweren avoid move- Testposition.

Mit denen (den am- Stellungen) hat man immer das Problem, dass die Engine den zu vermeidenden Zug natürlich aus veschiedenen Gründen nicht als zu spielenden auswählen kann, und man es nur entweder im MV- Mode, der bremst, oder durch Eingeben des (falschen) "Lösungszuges" mit den richtigen Antworten und Evals überprüfen kann.

Fritz14, Fritz15, Zappa und SF MateFinder sind hier gut gewesen bei meinen damaligen Versuchen.
Es dürfte sich um die Frage von MateFinder- code bzw. Mate- Extensions handeln und Königssicherheits- Einstellungen, neben vielleicht noch Parametern im Pruning allgemein.

Noch bevor das Matt selbst gefunden werden kann bwz. muss, kommt es wohl drauf an, das Springeropfer 9.Sxg6 ins Suchfenster zu bekommen, da kann für Schwarz das Matt noch durch Ablehnen des Opfers abgewendet werden, der Königsangriff rollt aber, es wird also wohl auch eine Frage der Parameter sein, die allgemein die Königssicherheit betreffen.

Prima, Kurt, ich nehme mal an, Crafty wird da, wie wohl schon (bzw. in diesem Fall noch) ein paar von den Oldies, Rybka (Fritz15), Zappa Mex.2 z.B. auch, Mate Extensions genutzt haben.
Weiß hatte hier in der Ursprungspartie Fritz14, der offenbar auch noch mehr MateFinder- coder drin hatte als spätere Entwicklungen, bei denen das teilweise wieder weniger eingesetzt wurde, wie's scheint.

Die "normalen" SF- development- Versionen sind ja mit ihrer Suche in aller Regel auch ohne das im Allgemeinen ausgesprochen findig im Königsangriff, hier klafft mal eine singuläre Lücke anscheinend, die wohl für die spezielle Stellung durch zu viel Pruning aufgemacht worden sein wird.

Houdini macht's besser, komodo mit default Einstellungen braucht beim #8 auch nur ein Weilchen, weit weniger als SF, schraubt man K12 die Königssicherheit hoch, klappts noch schneller, auch schon mit 8.Lc4+! und mit 9.Sxg6!

Nach neuen Tests mit jeweils 512;1024;2048;4096; 8192; 16432 MB dann jeweils Fritz 16 verlassen und nach ca. 2 Minuten dann neu gestartet !

Dass ausgerechnet Andscacs einer der flottesten (der flotteste?) Löser ist, ist schon sehr verwunderlich.
Schließlich wurde Andscacs meines Wissens als Klon von Stockfish geboren.

Oder kann dies jemand erklären?

Übrigens gibt es mittlerweile die Version 0.94 von Andscacs.

Korrektur: Obiges war nur auf 1 Thread und ist so auch reproduzierbar. Auf T3 braucht die Engine hier länger...

P.P.S. Jedoch war unter Arena aus mir schleierhaften Gründen Contempt 10 voreingestellt obwohl nun 0 Default ist. Sorry, das könnte von der Vorversion gestammt haben. Es ist alles sehr kompliziert.
