Jetzt versucht sich Larry Kaufman dran. Geschäftstüchtig wie er ist will er das Teil dann auch verkaufen.

"The first project (in collaboration with my old Rexchess partner Don Dailey) is the development of a huge position-test designed to predict the rating of any chess program. This test, although still in a primitive form, is already good enough to estimate ratings with surprising accuracy, especially when comparing different versions of the same program (like Rybka 2.3.2a, Rybka 3, Rybka Beijing etc.). It will probably be offered for sale to any interested person."

Es freut mich natürlich, dass sich meine Idee mittlerweile schon
bis zu den Grossmeistern rumgesprochen hat...

Soll er es gern machen.
Ich muss es mir ja nicht kaufen.
Und wenn Schachentwickler auch dank derartiger Angebote dann finanziell besser über die Runden kommen, will ich es ihnen gern gönnen.
(Goldene Nasen werden halt schon nicht das Thema werden...)
