Critter gab es schon lange vor den Houdinis...
ursprünglich sogar noch in Pascal geschrieben und, afaik, von Richard Vida auch offengelegt.
Also bitte nicht solchen Unsinn verbreiten.

Ich hätte wohl präzisieren sollen: der
heutige Critter. Die Debatte um die "Entwicklung" von Critter sollten eigentlich bekannt sein, aber sicherheitshalber ein kurzer Auszug aus einem Posting von Robert Houdart aus dem talkchess Forum:
