Auch wenn zumindest bei ponder=on keine Verstärkung meßbar ist (wieso eine solche hingegen bei ponder=off eintritt ist mir momentan unklar), hat es darstellbare Verbesserungen gegeben. Programmierer Richard Vida selbst zeigte folgendes Beispiel das ich bei mir gut nachvollziehen kann. Es geht um die Bewertung:
