- no futility pruning of killer moves: scores equal in self-play, but slightly better in tactics.
- futility and eval pruning now done also at PV nodes.
- bugfix: returned the previous iteration move when mate found in certain cases.
- bugfix: print_pv was calling move_to_string with illegal moves.
- run_epd: run an EPD file, produce a nice report of missed positions and total score.
- move_to_san added.
- bugfix: calc_attacks was functionally incorrect, rewritten and speeded it up a little too.
- improved evaluation of connected passed pawns.

Leider fehlt noch das Ponderfeature (und auch sonst alles außer der Hashgrößenwahl; sowohl 32- als auch 64-Bit-Versionen sind vorhanden).

Hallo,
ich habe mal die compiles von JA und vom Autor verglichen:
- die Bewertungen in der PV sind unterschiedlich
- beim JA compile belegt die engine nur etwa 200 MB obwohl ich 256MB hash eingestellt habe (das ist anders beim Original).

Ich werde daher die JA compiles diesmal nicht benutzen.

Das ist plausibel, aber ich "muß" weil der Autor nur 64 bit-Exes hergestellt hat.

Mittlerweile ist meine Aufmerksamkeit etwas weg von dieser Engine und mehr zu MinkoChess, Quazar usw. abgedriftet... auch interessant und dzt. vielleicht noch unterschätzt: Texel (vormals Cuckoochess).
