So far 20 players registered for the prize money tour starting on Feb. 1, and I know from a couple of other players they will join us within the remaing days (until January 30th). We will set up the tour groups 24 hours before tour start. So everyone will know the colours and opponents just in time.

We performed some engine test tours during the last days (one with 40 players in a group; quite ok, except from bots disconnecting now and then, but those will not start in serious tours), and now we will start mixed centaur/engine test tours too. The first one starts tomorrow, Tuesday evening:

Welcome for our first Freestyle Fun Tour, which will help you to get used to the InfinityChess server.
Depending on then number of participants we will set up 4-6 games for everyone, scheduled for 2-3 days.

You may ask the TD and your opponent, if you like to arrange a different start time for your game(s).

Registration Starts: 23 Jan 2012 9:45 PM  (server time).
Registration Ends: 24 Jan 2012 9:00 PM. (server time).

For registration either look up >"File" >"Forthcoming Tournaments" (wantin button on info tab, left side) or go to the tour room on the server (wantin button on info tab, left side).

Server time is 3 hrs. ahead of CET,
and 4 hrs. ahead of GMT.

The method of re-scheduling games according to player's preferences will be the following:
(1) If both players wish to re-schedule a game, the TD will suggest 3 alternate dates/times, and both players will have to choose 2 of those. After that the TD will decide on the re-scheduled date/time.
(2) If only one player agrees to re-schedule a game, then this player should give a serious reason, why he cannot play at the scheduled date/time. If the TD accepts the reason(s), he will proceed according to (1). Note, that this is an exception. The TD can only accept 2 of 4 games to be re-scheduled against the wishes of your opponents.
