Again, and again!
What you do is fantastic!

That is the reason Computerchess is great.
Persons which such own and interesting activities give me the motivation I need.

Much more interesting as each commercial news about this one or that one.

Sedat, I am sure that we powered in the future one idea in team work.
Not a rating list, mean a nice new idea.

Will be an event for myself!

Best for you!
Frank

Dear Sedat,

BTW:
What's your opinion about DeepSaros?
Can you see differents in playing style to IvanHoe, Fire, Houdini?

I think I should give this engine a chance in SWCR.

On weekend I will look in your games.

Best
Frank

Dear Frank,

Normally i like the playing style of DeepSaros 2.3i x64 4c (its almost same strength as Ivanhoe B47d x64 4c),
but unfortunately i get many crashes by DeepSaros on my both machines

Best,

Dear Sedat,

thank you for your great words.

I am not sure what I do in the future with my hobby. SWCR will be not powered many of years because the topic give me at the moment not many new knowledge about engines and statistics. Perhaps 6 or 12 months I have in my brain and I stopped my rating activities. You can be sure, that I will inform you about new activities I have in my brain. Nice to get and read your opinion about such things in the past. Perhaps we will find out an idea you and I have interest on it. So we can start nice things in teamwork. All the years computerchess your opinion is very important for myself. Furthermore, I think I will give my hobby in the near future not so many time too. Should be an activitie with needed a normal "level" of time.

If you have an interesting idea, please inform me too

Best for you

Hello dear Frank,

Really sad news that you will pause your computerchess activity
But i give you understanding and with no patience i will wait to see you back...

About my projects for the future (planning to be almost as before):
-Creating opening books
-Organizing Book Tournaments
-Auto232 Engine Tournaments
-Chess Benchmarks

About to work together-you and me:
-right now i am not 100 % sure,but normally i have a new idea for the future,to continue working on auto232 eng-matches

For example,i am planning to update my QX9650 hardware to AMD FX-8150 'Bulldozer' (8 cores)
Later i am planning to test the top engines in auto232 mode using AMD FX-8150 against Intel i7 920 @3.0GHz
So...if you are interested we can test the top engines via Playchess, with ponder on...
For example, you can participate with your hardware...

Lets see...the time will show up

I wich you all the best to you and your family,
Sedat

There were some questions regarding my hardwares/tournaments,so i decided to post here...

Some notes about the current used hardwares in SCCT Auto232:
------------------------------------------------------------
-I dont claim that the both hardwares (QX9650@3.66GHz/I7920@3.0GHz) have exactly same chess speed
*But looking at the current both hardware results,it seems they almost very near in chess speed

Fore more details please free to contact me

Hi Sedat,

nice!

It's not a problem for myself to update my systems to the same hardware you have. So why not we can do some things in teamwork with ideas you have. Very interesting for myself to try out other things as I have in my brain. The questions is how long I will play really on my own SWCR. I have here not an absolutly clear opinion becuase I have fun on looking LIVE on the games if I have time for it. The reason that the SWCR is now two years still running.

I have two Autoplayer cabel, but more as 15 years not in use. Find it today in my old computer chess box. I think I will contact you again end of the year with a more clear decision what I do with my SWCR.

And own ideas:
I start for a while to write a chess book. Topics are middlegames and analyzes by computer chess engines. Strong and weaknesses from chess programs (not my SWCR rating list in detail). I collect here some of my own material from the latest 30 years. At the moment I have written over 300 sites, around 50 sites with analyses and statistics. Not sure if a release this work or to which time my work is ready for take off.

During this work I find out that in closed middlegames much of the older or very older engines have more interesting ideas as the TOP engines today are available. Reason could be that the programmer try to implement more chess knowlege as in times today.

The middlegame is my personal big topic as part of chess, so I am thinking about it what can be do to make this topic more interesting with engines, statistics and so one.

Best
Frank
