This binary requires an Intel Mac (32 bit or 64 bit) running Mac OS X 10.5 or newer. If there is a big demand, I may prepare a somewhat slower Tiger compatible binary later. I'm not sure I'll be able to compile a PowerPC binary this time; PowerPC compatibility is beginning to get difficult to maintain.

That's a pity. In that case, I can't offer a fast binary. Here's a binary compiled with GCC 4.2:

I'm not entirely sure it works in Tiger. If it doesn't (please let me know), I'll try to use GCC 4.0. Unfortunately, this will give an even slower binary, but at least it it should work.

Unter ShredderClassic GUI sowie Shredder 11 GUI funktioniert die engine-Ausgabe nicht.

That's strange, but as I don't have the Shredder GUI myself, I have no way to diagnose the problem. I advice you to contact SMK and ask him to look at it.

Hi Tord,

on my intel macbook with OSX 10.5.8, I get only this error message in the terminal while starting the new "animal":

$ ./stockfish-leopard
dyld: unknown required load command 0x80000022
Trace/BPT trap

Your previous compile of stockfisch 1.4 runs fine:

$ ./stockfish14-Tord
Stockfish 1.4 64bit. By Tord Romstad, Marco Costalba, Joona Kiiski.
uci
id name Stockfish 1.4 64bit
id author Tord Romstad, Marco Costalba, Joona Kiiski
....

Any idea?
