okay i didn't even realize that you added cli arguments to the cmd command... that is not how you are supposed to do it, neither in fastchess nor in cutechess and the fact that it works in cutechess is weird.. you are supposed to use `arg` <https://github.com/cutechess/cutechess/blob/master/projects/cli/res/doc/help.txt#L190>
fastchess documentation has this, though it might be that your version doesnt have this, so i just pre-released 0.7.0
