Ok, für meine Hardware hab' ich das multistream dann sogar auch noch in einem Match gegen SF laufen lassen, es hat 16 Elo im Vergleich zum genau gleichen Match davor gegen dieselbe SF- Version gekostet. Also hat der Stellungstest hier auch gepasst.

Ich verstehe nicht, warum du immer wieder so etwas schreibst. Wie oft muß ich eigentlich noch erklären, daß die Betrachtung der Bedenkzeit alleine völliger Unsinn ist? Entscheidend ist die Bedenkzeit und die Geschwindigkeit der Hardware, denn schachliche Qualität von Enginepartien hängt von der Zahl der berechneten Stellungen pro gespieltem Zug ab. Und diese hängt wiederum von der Kombination Bedenkzeit plus PC-Geschwindigkeit ab. Und bei den ja ach so nichtssagenden Bulletpartien im CCC ist ein MonsterPC mit 256 Threads (128 Cores) im Einsatz. Diese Maschine ist ca. doppelt so schnell wie der TCEC Rechner und damit um ein Vielfaches schneller als ein normaler Anwender-PC mit 8 (CCC PC ist 16x schneller) bis 16 Cores (CCC PC ist ca. 8x schneller). Die 1min+1sec Bedenkzeit im CCC würde also auf einem Ryzen 8core PC, wie du ihn ja gerade gekauft hast, ca. 16min+16sec Bedenkzeit entsprechen ((die Partiedauer wäre dann über eine Stunde)!!!) Würdest du also sagen, wenn du auf deinem PC 16min+16sec Partien spielen läßt, daß diese Ergebnisse "nichtssagend" sind? Wohl kaum... Dennoch wären diese Partien auf demselben schachlichen Niveau, wie das "nichtssagende" 1+1 Bullet auf dem superschnellen 128-Core CCC Rechner. Tja.

So isses. Die guten Brettcomputer schaffen so 2000 bis 10000 Stellungen pro Sekunde. Stockfish auf dem CCC PC ca. 160 MN/s (wobei noch vernachlässigt wird, dass Stockfische ohne nnue ca. doppelt so schnell laufen (Stockfish 11 z.B.).
Billigt man einem ordentlich starken Brettcomputer im Schnitt ca. 5000 n/s zu (selbst der Atlanta schafft das bei vollem Brett gerade so), so ist der CCC PC 32000 mal schneller (!!!).
Um also das nichtssagende Bulletzeit Niveau des CCC PC zu erreichen, müsste der Brettcomputer mit der Bedenkzeit von 22Tagen für die ganze Partie plus 8.9Stunden Inkrement pro Zug spielen...

Andersrum gerechnet: Für die 3min pro Zug, also Turnierbedenkzeit, des Brettcomputers braucht der CCC PC nur 5.6 Millisekunden. Dagegen ist selbst die 1 Sekunde Inkrement beim CCC Bullet eine schiere Ewigkeit.

Die Computer sind nach 30 Jahren über 1000 mal schneller geworden.

Dazu kommt die enorme Software-Verbesserung nach über 30 Jahren.

Deshalb sind Bullet-Partien durchaus gehalt- und anspruchsvoll.

Da hat der Kurt noch nicht den richtigen Bezug dazu; vielleicht hängt er da
noch der Vergangenheit nach als mit den 8-Bit Prozessoren erst auf
Turnierstufe sehr gehaltvolle Schachpartien zustande kamen.

   

Ergänzung:
Für Bullet-Partien finde ich 1 Sek. + 0,3 Sek. pro Zug ideal.
Damit kann sich die Engine noch gut entfalten, mit durchaus enormer Rechentiefe, und
es kommt im Endspiel nicht zu Zeitnotproblemen.

Und da dachte ich dann an einen Schreibfehler und du wolltest vielleicht 1 Minute als Grundstock geben.
Aber wenn du wirklich 1 Sekunde meinst, ok. Mir erschiene das als zu wenig Freiheit für die Engine bei der Zeiteinteilung.

Oder meintest du doch was ganz anderes? Vielleicht doch genau 1,3 Sekunde pro Zug? Ne, das mag ich irgendwie noch viel weniger glauben.

Ich glaube allerdings, dass "Thread Dominance" bedeutet, dass SF single thread spielt und der Gegner SMP, jedenfalls muss, wenn man sich die Rechentiefen der beiden Engines anschaut, Ethereal mehr Kerne genutzt haben als SF. Das ist ist irgendwie das Thema dieses Events offenbar, anders hätte Koivisto auch keine 46% gegen SF geholt im Match davor.

Seit die Stockfish Entwickler nur noch mit Lc0-Partien die NNUE-Netze trainieren, wird Stockfish
leider taktisch immer schwächer und es geht nur noch abwärts, bzw. nicht mehr aufwärts.

Sehr vesteckt auf Chess.com, die richtigen Klicks, um bis zur Info "250 Threads" vorzudringen. Scheinst auch der einzige zu sein, der das geschafft hat. Ich habe die richtigen Symbole für die Auswahl der Games und die besagte Engine-Info jetzt auch nur entdeckt, da ich wusste, da muss es was geben Der Titel "Thread Dominance" ist allerdings deutlich auszumachen. Da muss man dann doch sagen, wer genau liest ist im Vorteil. Vor allem dann, wenn es um derartig eilfertige Berichterstattung und unwahrscheinliche Interpretationen geht. Da müsste doch vorher die "Nachtigall ganz schön trabsen ", Lothar und Kurt.

Dass es sich hier um ein "Schauturnier" handeln soll, dafür habe ich explizit keinen Hinweis gefunden. Solange ich nicht irgendwo oder irgendwie erfahren kann, welches Konzept hinter der Computer Chess Championship steckt, erscheinen mir Matches mit diesem extremen Stockfish-Handicap eher als ein ziemlich sinnloses Gaga-Karnevalsturnier. Denn sie wissen nicht, was sie tun! Aber vielleicht kennen die veranstaltenden und planenden Herrschaften ja denn tieferen Sinn
