https://github.com/LeelaChessZero/lc0/releases/tag/v0.24.0-rc1

Introduced DirectX12 backend.
Optimized Cpuct/FPU parameters are now default.
There is now a separate set of CPuct parameters for the root node.
Support of running selfplay games from an opening book.
It's possible to adjust draw score from 0 to something else.
There is a new --max-concurrent-seachers parameter (default is 1) which helps with thread congestion at the beginning of the search.
Cache fullness is not reported in UCI info line by default anymore.
Removed libproto dependency.

As usual, RC (release candidate) versions are NOT accepted for generating training games. Please continue to use v0.23 for that.

Inwiefern wirkt sich dies auf LC0s ELO aus?

Keine Ahnung.

Was bewirkt nun cpuct at root usw...?

Sowas sollte heutzutage automatisiert ablaufen.

Hier einige Erklärungen:

Changes:
DirectX12 backend thanks to <@!435088453957320712>
Optimized !kiudee parameters thanks to <@!115054542860713989> (if you use defaults, be sure to reset settings in your GUI, most GUIs will remember the old settings)
There is now a separate set of CPuct parameters for the root node (if you use custom cpuct values, be sure to also update -at-root counters similarly).
Added a way to start training from opening book (not startpos) positions (no FRC support yet).
It's possible to change draw score from 0.0 to something else. It may work as contempt, or with some settings you can switch Lc0 into Armaggeddon mode. Probably doesn't have much effect on existing networks as only affects Q head but not P, however it's also possible to adjust those while training.
Cache fullness is not reported anymore in `hash xxxx` uci response. People were too worried that they always had it at 100% (there's a secret way to enable it back if you need it though).
We don't depend on libproto anymore, makes builds easier.

Lc0 version **v0.24.0-rc1** has been released!

As usual, **RC (release candidate) versions are NOT accepted for generating training games.** Please continue to use v0.23 for that.
