Wann startet TCEC Season 8?

Wem jetzt noch einige Engines fehlen der sollte schnell deren Entwickler anschreiben, vielleicht sehen wir diese Engines dann doch wenn genug Stimmen beim jeweiligen Entwickler vorhanden sind.

This is the first preliminary list of participants http://www.chessdom.com/tcec-season-8-information-and-part…/ The final two spots will be decided by the users: leave your message below about the engine that you want to see in this edition of the season and why.
- Junior (awaiting info from the author)
- Critter (awaiting info from the author)
- Bouquet (source close to Fire)
- Toga (similar to Fruit)
- RedQueen (some instability in previous seasons)
- Equinox (some instability in previous seasons)
- Delphi (rating)
- Rookie (new)
- Other (please specify why)
Note: Hiarcs and Shredder will participate with brand new versions in Season 9, that starts right after Season 8. Other two engines, that we will keep secret for now, will also submit code that they expect to be "revolutionary"
Note 2: Even if some of these engines is not selected this season, all these engines are rather certain for Season 9 if proper code is submitted by the engine creators.

wurde vor 4 Stunden auf der TCEC-Facebook-Seite vermeldet.
Morgen die Teilnehmerliste, und los geht's am 21. August.
Und vielleicht folgt ja auch bald die Beschreibung der Event-Modalitäten und: der neuen Hardware.

Viele bekannte Engine-Gesichter und alte Haudegen.
Aber Rybka und auch Shredder(!) sind nicht dabei.

Und auch kein Fritz (Ok, der hätte allenfalls mit sehr viel Optimismus erwartet werden können).

The TCEC Season 8 will start on a 20 core Xeon server with 128 GB of RAM. The final stages will be played on a 40 cores server.
Exact specifications will be posted in a separate post soon on Chessdom.
